The Hispanic Heritage Chamber of Commerce was founded by Margaret Delmont Sanchez, with the early support of Milin Espino from Memorial Healthcare System, who served as co–founder and Vice President. Margaret took on the role of CEO, driven by a shared vision to create a chamber that would empower Hispanic businesses and professionals, while celebrating the richness of our cultural heritage.
The Chamber was officially inaugurated during the 2nd Florida International Trade and Cultural Expo (FITCE) —a significant milestone that was honored by the presence of former Latin American presidents and other distinguished guests who supported the mission from the very beginning. It was legally constituted in 2017.
Key partners played an essential role in bringing the vision to life. JGA Marketing donated the original logo, and Memorial Healthcare System provided the Chamber’s first sponsorship. PNC Bank was also among the original sponsors, helping establish a strong foundation for growth and impact.
After a hiatus during the pandemic, the Chamber was relaunched in 2023 and has since emerged as a dynamic force for business growth, community engagement, and economic advancement. The Hispanic Heritage Chamber of Commerce has grown into a dynamic platform serving Broward and Palm Beach Counties. With a mission rooted in advocacy, connection, and cultural pride, the Chamber continues to build pathways to opportunity, supporting Hispanic businesses and professionals as they shape the future of our region.
